Discover the first Lovable event in Spain, where professionals from various sectors created applications using generative AI. Learn how Lovable is revolutionizing digital product development by accelerating prototyping and innovation for designers, developers, and companies."

Innovation and development with generative AI
Introduction
The first official Lovable event in Spain took place on Thursday, November 28, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, at Work in Cholas La Minilla. The meeting brought together professionals from diverse sectors such as administration, mechanics, automotive, design, and technology. This variety of backgrounds contributed to a unique experience, allowing individuals with different skills to engage in creating their first application assisted by artificial intelligence. The event was organized by Lovable, AIOS, and 1604 lab, led by Andrea Saccà, CEO of 1604 lab, and David Macías, CEO of AIOS. The session was characterized by a practical and informal approach, focused on active learning through direct application.

What is Lovable
Lovable is an innovative platform that enables the development of complete applications through conversational interaction, leveraging generative AI to transform a conceptual idea into a functional product. Unlike no-code tools, Lovable can autonomously generate the application's structure, frontend, backend, database, user interface, authentication systems, APIs and integrations, as well as custom logic and deployment.
This process occurs through natural language interaction: the user describes the objective, and Lovable handles the implementation. The platform also allows for rapid iteration in seconds, progressively refining the application. This approach significantly lowers technical barriers and drastically accelerates the prototyping and development phases, proving particularly advantageous for digital professionals.

Highlights from the event
The event was conceived as a practical and immediate workshop, rather than following the traditional format of frontal presentations. The first part of the meeting was dedicated to understanding Lovable. Andrea Saccà and David Macías illustrated the platform's internal workings, thinking methodologies when using AI for creation, optimizing prompts for superior results, and transforming an idea into a clear and achievable structure. This session was accessible even to participants without a technical background. In the second part, each participant selected a personal idea and developed it into a real app using Lovable. During the construction phase, Lovable generated the application in real-time, while participants learned to iterate, correct, and improve their work.
Andrea and David provided individual support for each project. The result was the creation of ten different applications in a few hours, including internal tools, small SaaS platforms, dashboards, organizational tools, and business idea prototypes. The day concluded with an informal networking session, fostering discussion about the created projects and identifying potential future collaborations.

Why people working in the digital field shouldn’t underestimate this technology.
For digital professionals, underestimating this technology would mean ignoring a new paradigm in digital product creation. For designers, Lovable offers the ability to test interfaces and flows without waiting for development, accelerating ideation and prototyping. Developers can eliminate structural and repetitive work, focusing on complexity, customizations, and scalability. Startups and founders can create a functional MVP in a day, validating ideas with reduced costs and time. Companies can build custom internal tools without overloading IT teams, automating processes and increasing productivity. Lovable, therefore, lowers technical barriers, allowing anyone to transform an idea into a concrete solution without needing to be a developer.
The Lab's projects carried out with Lovable
At 1604 lab, we use Lovable for both internal and client projects, integrating it into our development workflow. Among the projects realized or under development with Lovable, we highlight NexEvento, a digital events hub that allows users to find tech and IT events, manage content, speakers, and event pages, and centralize the entire publishing process. This project was entirely built with Lovable, without writing a single line of code.
We are also developing ProHubly, a project management tool designed for makers, indie founders, digital nomads, and remote teams. Lovable allows us to rapidly prototype, test different UX approaches, and evolve the product without excessive technical overhead. The platform provides us with the ability to build quickly, maintaining high standards of quality, user experience, and scalability. Lovable acts as an accelerator, not a substitute for our work.

Final consideration
The Lovable Launch Canarias represented a significant first step in bringing Lovable to Spain and bringing an increasingly wide audience closer to creating digital products with the help of AI. In just a few hours, participants with very different skills completed ten concrete projects, demonstrating the power and accessibility of this approach. For us at 1604 lab, organizing the event was a natural choice, given our daily experience with Lovable, our belief in its potential, and our awareness of its capabilities.
